Financial services

SOC 2 Type II program, zero findings

Mid-market accounting firm needed Type II audit readiness in under four months to unlock an enterprise deal. We rebuilt the access governance model, deployed MDM, and wrote the policy stack in plain English.

What we work with every day.

Vendor-agnostic, but opinionated. We pick the tool that fits the problem and your team, then we make it boring to operate.

What clients say

Quiet wins, loud feedback.

Roles and industries shown. Names withheld at request.

They moved faster than our last consultancy and explained things our finance team could actually follow. Felt like we added a senior engineer to the team, not booked a project.

Director of Operations

Financial services firm, Toronto

We came in for a SOC 2 readiness review and left with a security program we still run ourselves two years later. That is the rare part.

CEO

B2B SaaS scaleup

Other firms gave us a roadmap. They gave us a working environment. Documentation, runbooks, training for our team. We did not need them once the project closed.

Common questions

The things teams ask first.

Send a question
  • What size of company do you typically work with?

Most of our clients are between 30 and 300 people. Some smaller, some larger. The common thread is a team that has outgrown ad-hoc IT but is not yet ready to staff a full internal department.

  • How long does a typical engagement run?

Discrete projects are 6 to 16 weeks. Audit-readiness programs (SOC 2, ISO) are 3 to 6 months. Ongoing advisory retainers are quarterly. Everything starts with a written scope and exit criteria.

  • Do you work outside of Toronto?

Yes. We work remotely across Canada and travel for on-site engagements when the work calls for it. About 40% of our active clients are outside the GTA.

  • How do you charge for work?

Fixed-price for defined projects, monthly retainer for ongoing advisory. We do not bill hourly. Scope changes go in writing with a number attached before any new work starts.

  • What happens after a project ends?

You get a documented environment, runbooks, and a training session for your team. Most clients run their own systems after handoff. We are available on retainer if you want us to stick around.

  • Can you work alongside an existing IT team or MSP?

Often, yes. We are happy to plug into an existing team for a specific program (audit readiness, cloud migration, identity rollout) and step back when the work is done.
